Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use Planiberry, we hold the following:

When you add a profile, we collect publicly available information about that LinkedIn account: profile fields such as headline and about text, and roughly the twenty most recent public posts. This is done through a third-party data collection provider, Apify.

We never ask for your LinkedIn password or session cookies, we do not log in to LinkedIn as you, and we cannot see private messages, connections-only content, or anything else behind a login. If a post is not public, Planiberry does not have it.

There is no integration or connection between Planiberry and LinkedIn. We hold no access token for your account, we cannot act inside it, and nothing you do in Planiberry appears on LinkedIn unless you publish it there yourself. Planiberry is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn Corporation, and LinkedIn is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.

This is the part of the product worth understanding in detail, because it is the part people ask about.

From the public posts of a profile you add, we compute a statistical description of how that account writes. That includes average sentence and paragraph length, how often function words appear, capitalisation habits, punctuation and emoji frequency, and phrases that recur across several posts.

The result is a set of measurements, not a copy of the posts, and it is stored against that profile in your account. It is used to condition the drafts we generate for you and for nothing else. It is not pooled with other users, not sold, and not used to build a general-purpose model. Removing the profile removes its measurements.

We use what we collect to:

Generating strategies, ideas and drafts requires sending relevant content to an AI provider. We use OpenAI for this.

The material sent includes the profile context, the voice measurements, and the idea or draft being worked on. It is sent to produce your output and for no other purpose.

We do not use your content to train models, and we use these providers under terms that do not permit them to train their models on data submitted through the API.

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract, for everything needed to deliver the service you signed up for; legitimate interests, for security, abuse prevention and product improvement; legal obligation, where we are required to keep or produce records; and consent, where we ask for it, such as for non-essential analytics.

Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, and where we rely on legitimate interests you can object.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, maintain your session, run security checks, and remember basic product preferences. These are essential, and disabling them will stop parts of the app from working.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This is not essential to the service.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use the following providers to run the service, each with access only to what its function requires:

We keep your account data, profiles, voice measurements and generated content for as long as your account is open, because they are what the product runs on.

When you delete a profile, its data and measurements are removed. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to keep records for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or to resolve a dispute.

Backups roll off on their own schedule, so deleted data may persist in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

Our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your own country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, access to production systems is restricted, and authentication is handled by a dedicated provider rather than by storing passwords ourselves.

No system is entirely without risk. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is processed, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent.

You can delete profiles and your whole account from inside the app at any time. For anything else, email support@planiberry.co and we will respond within the period the law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you add a LinkedIn profile belonging to someone else, such as a client, you are responsible for having the right to do so. In that arrangement you decide why the data is processed and we process it on your instructions.

If you are the owner of a profile that someone has added to Planiberry and you want it removed, email support@planiberry.co. We will act on credible requests.

Planiberry is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product and the law develop. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
