Taplio alternative

A Taplio alternative built around how you write

Taplio and Planiberry solve overlapping problems from different ends. This page sets out what each one actually does, using pricing and feature details published by Taplio themselves, so you can tell whether switching makes sense for you.

1

They are different shapes of product

Taplio is a broad LinkedIn growth suite. It covers scheduling, finding viral posts to remix, analytics, auto-connecting and DMs, carousels, engagement, and access through MCP. Planiberry is deliberately narrower: it syncs your profile and posts, matches you to a content strategy, turns that into a week of connected post ideas, and drafts each one in your measured writing voice. If you want outreach automation and a publishing queue, Taplio covers ground Planiberry does not.

2

AI writing begins on Taplio’s middle plan

Taplio publishes three plans: Starter at $39 per month, Growth at $69, and Pro at $199. Their own pricing guide states plainly that Starter does not include AI writing, and that AI drafting begins on Growth. The two tools also meter differently: Taplio prices per LinkedIn account, while Planiberry prices per client roster, so Solo at $39 per month covers three clients and Studio at $99 covers ten. Planiberry’s free plan covers one client and ten posts a month without a card. Prices were read from taplio.com on 4 August 2026 and change without notice, so confirm on both sites before deciding.

3

Voice is measured rather than requested

Taplio’s public marketing describes finding ideas and writing posts that grow, and does not make specific claims about matching an individual writing voice. Planiberry measures yours directly: sentence length, lowercase openings, conjunction starts, contraction rate, punctuation and line-break habits, and the phrases you repeat. That profile is passed into every draft alongside five of your real posts. The difference is not that one has AI and the other does not. It is what the model is shown before it writes.

4

What Planiberry does not do

Planiberry does not schedule or publish posts, does not auto-connect or send DMs, does not build carousels, and does not surface other people’s viral posts to remix. It ends at a draft you copy into LinkedIn yourself. If any of those are load-bearing in your current workflow, a switch will cost you something, and it is better to know that now.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Planiberry cheaper than Taplio?

It depends on how many people you write for. Both entry plans are $39 per month, but Taplio Starter does not include AI writing at all — drafting begins on the $69 Growth plan — and Taplio prices per LinkedIn account. Planiberry Solo covers three clients at $39, so a ghostwriter pays about $13 per client where Taplio would charge $69 each. For one account, the two are close. Can Planiberry schedule my LinkedIn posts?

No. Planiberry produces a draft you copy into LinkedIn. There is no publishing queue, no auto-posting, and no engagement automation. Taplio does offer scheduling.

Does Planiberry use my existing posts?

Yes, as evidence of how you write. It measures your writing habits across every synced post and shows the model five real posts per generation. It never reuses their topics, opinions, or opening lines.

Do I need to disconnect Taplio to try Planiberry?

No. Planiberry reads your public LinkedIn profile and posts and produces drafts. Nothing about it conflicts with running another tool alongside it while you compare.
